Our Open Water program is offered three ways to give you the flexibility, and involvement level that best fits your needs:
- Private (one on one): Want undivided attention, one on one with one of our best instructors? Do you have a crazy schedule? Need to get certified for that unexpected trip in two weeks? Then this is the class for you. Lectures and pool session are tailored around your availability. Proceed as fast or as slow as you feel comfortable. Bring your palm or planner, and let’s get you scheduled in. You can start today!!!
- Semi-Private (2-4people): Get the same tailored scheduling as the Private class only with a few more people. Maybe you want to do the class with a few of your closest friends and you want the instructor all to yourselves.
- Group (5-8people): Group classes are taught on two schedules. From January to about Mid-May we meet one night a week for eight weeks. From Mid-May through the end of October we meet two nights a week for four weeks. These sessions are equally divided between classroom and confined water training. Classroom sessions are from 6:30-8:00P.M. Pool sessions are from 8:30-10:00 P.M. We will provide as part of the course, all buoyancy compensators, regulator systems with long hoses, tanks with appropriate breathing gas, and wetsuits* for the open water portion of the class. You will need a high quality mask, fins, snorkel, mouthpiece and a Course textbook. Please stop in to have all items professionally fitted prior to the beginning of your first class. *While not mandatory, we strongly recommend booties and a shorty.
Please stop in to All About Scuba for your FREE “Intro to SCUBA package.” This package will include all kinds of general information on diving and related equipment. This will put valuable information at your fingertips, allow you to meet some of the Staff and possibly others that share your interest in the sport.
